Pre-Job Preparation & On-Site Procedures

Ensuring our crews are fully prepared before arriving on-site is critical to operational success.

1. Pre-Job Readiness & Verification

🔹 Pre-Job Checklist Completion – Every crew lead verifies that all safety equipment, PPE, and cleaning tools are present and in proper working condition before departure.
🔹 Signed Safety & Equipment Checklist – Reviewed and signed off by crew, safety personnel, and management before leaving for a job site.

2. On-Site Safety & Coordination

🔹 Job Walk & Risk Assessment – The crew lead conducts a site walk-through to identify any potential hazards and verify safety protocols.
🔹 Tailgate Safety Meeting – A mandatory safety briefing is held with all crew members and on-site customer representatives.
🔹 Visual Documentation – Photos of the interior and exterior of each railcar are taken before cleaning begins to establish a documented condition record.
🔹 Emergency Action Plan (EAP) Implementation – Local fire departments and emergency responders are notified in advance regarding confined space operations, ensuring rapid response if needed.

3. Execution & Compliance

🔹 Confined Space Entry Procedures – Continuous atmospheric monitoring using 4-gas detectors ensures a safe working environment.
🔹 Standardized Cleaning Protocols – Crews follow industry-best SOPs tailored to specific tank contents, ensuring complete residue removal while meeting environmental regulations.
🔹 Post-Cleaning Inspection – A final inspection and documentation process verifies cleaning effectiveness and regulatory compliance.
